  • Re: Best Part of Today

this morning our mortgage broker called and told us that we should lock into a rate. secondly, the mango tree was trimme/pruned and the crew did an excellent job. the only bummer (not for me) is that it probably won't have another crop for several years.

Been busy cleaning and packing to move.

Was watching History Channel this morning. My daughter opens the door.
"Mom, the house smells like gas!"
I rush to the kitchen and checked the stove. Sure enough, one of the knobs was turned on.
I lost my sense of smell couple years ago.
Opened the windows and door to air the hale out.
      Got a headache...but I'm alive.

      Love and ALOHA,

Best part of today is the memories of all the fun at last night's Roy's 20th anniversary celebration. What fun it was! Sorting through all the pictures we took.

WORST part of today was reading the Star-Bulletin and seeing that Sandy "Mom" Kodama has passed away. She was a true angel on earth and I am
very very sad today to know I'll never see her again with her smiling face
          warm laugh and big hugs.

              TutuSue, Leashlaws, and Kani,

              Thank you kindly.

The best part of today is transferring da electric, telephone and cable to our new hale this weekend! It's a Go! We found the cutest 2bedroom right in the heart of Kalihi. I'll still be on the Kalihi/Palama Neighborhood Board.

              We're sooo excited.

Today, like most days when I walk down our driveway with Manele & Koele
the giant taro leaves we have that line the entire length down have little and sometimes big droplets of morning dew, they are just gorgeous! It sparkles
like little diamonds, even if it's not sunny they sparkle and reflect. This is truly one of the best parts of any day.

Having a few days off work, before starting a new job - time to get caught up on a lot of little projects around home and around town. Sunday & Monday - hanging out with visiting Hawaiian musicians, as well as my mother. Tuesday - going holoholo with the Alpha Female, including a late wake-up time and a trip to our favorite breakfast spot. Today - lunch with an old friend and a visit to the grave of a jazz singer whose albums I produced years ago (she passed away in March of 2002).

Best part of the day for me is that I passed my first module exam with 90% or better for my on-the-job training.

I had to relearn the anatomy & physiology of the cardiovascular system and learn about the kidney system in just over a weeks time. One exam down, 6 to go
