No kidding. I've been saying that since last season -- and honestly? Any band that can re-create the masterpiece known as Rob Base's "IT TAKES TWO" definitely deserves recognition.
Tessie, "Nuf Ced" McGreevey shouted
We're not here to mess around
Boston, you know we love you madly
Hear the crowd roar to your sound
Don't blame us if we ever doubt you
You know we couldn't live without you
Tessie, you are the only only only

I agree wholeheartedly. The saxes sound really sweet when they're playing swing and bebop. But...I'd love to hear them cover Eric B. and Rakim--that's classical. Eff a Mozart or Beethoven.
This show is inspiring me to hit the weights again. Edyta's back is ridic.
EDIT: Anyone who dances to a Phil Collins track should be shot.

Re: "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC - Season 4
at least this season - they are actually playing music that is appropriate to the dance being performed. and tonite, I used most of my votes for Laila Ali. I think she was absolutely the best! But, I did vote once for Leeza - any 50 yr. old woman who can do the splits is worthy of our admiration!!!!

Re: "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC - Season 4
I forgot it was on last night! I'm so upset. I did youtube Laila's performance, it twas SMOKING! She is quite beautiful, but her parents aren't exactly bad looking. Great genetics there.
Anyone have a favorite to win yet? Any early guesses on first, second and third places?
My early guess is that it will be between Joey and Laila in the end.
I'm disgusted and repulsed, and I can't look away.

Laila's grrrrrr-eat!!! I also think they're looking for a female winner this year so, if that plays out, Laila has the best shot. I love Joey's dancing but I wouldn't underestimate Apolo. I think he's the biggest surprise so far. I'm not surprised by Joey because of his boy band experience. And that 18 year old, Julianne Hough, Apolo's dancing with is absolutely unbelievable for her age. The 2 of them together are a joy to watch. They put a wonderful, youthful slant on the competition.
I have a bit of recreational experience in ballroom dancing (swing and latin) and what the amateur celebrities are accomplishing in such a short amount of time is mind boggling to me. Well, with the exception of Master P a couple of seasons ago!
I wonder when we're going to see the DWTS season that pairs up the pros with American Idol finalists?!
I've been happy that so far American Idol and Lost have scheduled things so they don't compete on Wed. night. Lost would so win with me though, it did last season.

Re: "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC - Season 4
This week, the dances are the Jive and the Tango, and they were assigned randomly.
This time I had to vote. Joey Fatone was going to tango to the Star Wars theme. And yes, his partner Kym was wearing the Slave Leia costume. Nope, she didn't have the cinnabon 'do.
In case you're wondering, Billie Ray have made some slight improvement ... a hair ... on his tango performance. He just need to stop nodding his head and counting with his mouth.

Apollo Anton Ohno kind of remins me of Curious George. My girlfriend says he's cute...well maybe in a dancing monkey sort of way. I'm rooting for my man "Steve Sanders" to win it all.
