Great pics gang. Keep 'em comin'! Keanu, your wakeboarding pal looks like a real pro. lol

AC, I love the pic of the waterfalls coming down the Koolaus.

Mel, What kind of DSLR did you use for those Kauai pics? Gorgeous. I need to pick up a DSLR myself. My point-and-shooter just doesn't have the lens pr CCD size to capture that kind of detail. I just like it because I can tote it around and not worry about it (cheap), and it still gets decent shots (Canon rules!).

      Here's some more stuff...

The future home of Lowes Home Improvement in Iwilei. Following with mainland trends, they went and plop themselves right next to Home Depot. This was formerly a fuel storage facility for Tesoro Petroleum. Lowes purchased the property for $35 million. They'll have the advantage of having exposure along the Nimitz highway corridor. Notice the Matson container cranes in the background. Photo taken 2.21.07

I'm holding a baby Pirie Mango sprouting from a flower bud. Photo taken yesterday.

A wall painting on display in the Yardhouse at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Walk (Lewers Street). Photo taken 2.24.07.

Yeah we were lucky we had some great weather during our stay there. That being said, the gasoline was around .40 cents higher there than in Kona. But
there was a lot of lifted 4wd trucks over there. Thus the gas must burn hole through a lot of peoples wallets over there.

From this vantage point, it looks like it is Kilauea Iki crater not Halemaumau.

Memory's an amazing thing. I haven't been to Honaunau in 15-20 years but I instantly recognized that location.

The NYC pix were a wonderful surprise.

Wow, that's a great gallery AB! You've covered so many signifcant landmarks on the various islands.

What's with the face on that fish at the Ma'alaea Aquarium? Freaky!

Some macro shots I took yesterday at the "Surfers' Garden" fronting Diamond Head Lookout...

AB, thanks for the names on those flowers.

Christa, that breaching whale must have been just an awesome site.

A view off Diamond Head yesterday. The weather was beach-perfect...

You can faintly see Molokai off the horizon, about an 1-1/2" from the right, with Koko Head on the left.

Black Point homes, including Dorris Duke's Shangri La (the white pillars) and the popular "Cromwell's" salt water "pool" just below it. Think of this as a zoomed-in version of the photo before it.

Kona Sunset....unfortunately that construction blockade keeps it from being a really stellar shot.
