Re: HT's Photo Sharing Thread
First person to tell us where this fenced off construction area is located gets a virtual high five!...
Also, here's a nice catch a couple spearfishermen brought in off Diamond Head beach (way beyond and out of the restricted DH Lighthouse-to-Natatorium zone) this past Easter Sunday...
Menpachi (the smaller red fish), Red Uhu, Kala (the big one with the speared tail hidden behind) & Po'opa'a
Different angle, so you can see the Kala...
Red Uhu, Kala (the one with the horn on the head), Po'opa'a and Menpachi (behind)
He said a small tiger shark took his first group of fish, probably because one the fish was still alive and spazzing, attracting the shark.
Guess we know what these fisherman were having for Easter dinner!Last edited by Pomai; April 10, 2007, 11:33 AM.sigpic The Tasty Island

Re: HT's Photo Sharing Thread
Looks like nobody can (or feels inclined to) figure this one out. The following photo is of the former Kapiolani Shopping Plaza, located on the corner of McCully street and Kapiolani Blvd., across McCully Shopping Center.
It will be the new home of The Lock Up, yet another storage facility to compete in the Honolulu market. The Lock-Up paid $7.2 million for the parcel.Originally posted by Pomai View PostFirst person to tell us where this fenced off construction area is located gets a virtual high five!...

Re: HT's Photo Sharing Thread
This doesn't come close to replicating the true beauty of this morning but this was my breakfast view! While running some early morning errands I grabbed a fast food breakfast, found parking at Makaha Beach and thoroughly enjoyed the incredible view. This beach holds such fond memories. Love it!
Unlike other HTers, PS isn't my strength. Sure wish it was. Come to think of it...I don't even own it!Attached Files

Took this shot of Kapono at his Wild Hawaiian Concert at Hilton waikoloa last year with my cheapie Finepix
My good friend Gloria Baraquio of Living Local and I hang with Kapono after the concert
Hanging with my braddah actor Jason Scott Lee & Kahanu at his movie opening Only the Brave. Dats my wife next to me who looks glamorous. It was also Black and White Night in Hilo so dats why we all had Black and White clothes on.
