Yuck.... I don't like chicken skin at all. Don't use it.
Even when I make dumpling I peel it off after cooking it then strain the fat.
To make it simple I just buy boneless skinless.Since when is psycho a bad thing??

The skin is the best part!
Most of the posts here seem to be about fried chicken, but just about any type of chicken (roast chicken would definitely be one of my favorites) would lose a lot without the skin.
Give me skin! I love it!

Gosh I must be the only one who doesn't eat skin!
I thought everyone else was weird...BUT NO .... I am weird!
I remember seeing my grandpa eating chicken skin and I almost was sick.
Even on fried chicken I peel it off.
Since when is psycho a bad thing??

SKIN!!! I like mine fried. Foodland now has a "local" style fried chicken. Nomo all dat battah all ovah. Jes flour salt and pepper and fried crispy. Way better than Zippy's. Also got a place in Wahiawa that sells crispy fried chicken skin by itself. The leftovers from her other okazu chicken dishes that she prepares as skinless.
Chinese style crispy fried chicken is ono too. Fat Fat used to serve a good one. The crispy skin was the best.

Re: Chicken skin: On or Off?
Oooh! Last week when I was back in Hawaii, I ate at Kohnotori (near Puck's Alley and right next to Imanas). They have all kinds of meaty goodness on skewers, including grilled chicken skin. Yes, just skin on a skewer and grilled over hot coals. Mmmmmmmm.
I ate way too much there, including grilled chicken with wasabi. (Brok da mout!)
Give it a try, you will not be disappointed! And keep your defibrilator nearby.
