Two more previews (or trailers depending on how you call them) appeared on the Apple Movie Trailer site today, giving a total of 4. The 4th one looks like the one referenced by shaveice in post#21. I never saw #3 before now.
In any event there is something I noticed in the trailers which I will put in a spoiler.

Oh No another remake.
Whatever happened to that magnified idea of starting off new? I guess Hollywood abandoned that a long time ago. Oh well jumps on the band wagon puts on his Speed Racer hat takes off the shackles that once belonged to all the star wars movies, matrix movies and also sadly terminator movies and looks forward with anticipation and banters with glee "Full steam ahead!" GO Speed Racer Go. This is going to be a good ride. YEEHAA

She was there in the series of course it didn't help matters that she (a) wasn't in all of the episodes (b) she was imaged almost the same as Trixie and (c) I suspect in the American version the same actress voiced both characters.Originally posted by DannyWilliams View PostWHOA, I don't recall the anime series having a mom racer?

"Speed Racer" is quite an amazing movie. The digital wipes that advance the scenes are almost a new grammar in filmmaking. The Wachowski Brothers have outdone themselves.
Plot and themewise, similar to "V For Vendetta."Comment
