Re: Paris Hilton: Justice is Served

I think she should be in general population. She has been pampered her whole life. maybe it would teach her something...but that is doubtful. I think she is about as smart as a stump(no offense stumps).

The fact that they are giving her options for reducing the stay, and putting her in a "special needs" group, imo, is giving her "special attention". And as much as I would like to believe that Justice is the ultimate goal of the judicial system, I feel that the money is at work in this case, and has been since day one. I would hope that the deciding people would opt for a full term, full experience for her, just to prove a point.

Re: Paris Hilton: Justice is Served

I think it just means a "Glammer Slammer", which the judge supposedly assured her she WOULDN'T be serving in...so much for her getting any "real" justice...

"Special needs" in her case probably means, no real dangerous people anywhere near her...just other spoiled rich brats who float above the law....

She needs those tough guy drill seargents like on the talk shows....at LEAST.

Didn't even Martha Stewart serve her time in the general population in a low security prison? I guess Paris is just shinier.

Paris should share a cell with...

The thread about Paris Hilton has been pretty busy (I resisted the urge to write a reply of "Who is Paris Hilton?" ), and the news reports all say that she'll be in a two-person cell, so... who would you like to see as Paris's cellmate?
            Be creative.

The very first name that came to my feeble mind is Rosie O'Donnel.

            .
            .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Oh, that's a good one! Two for one! I suspect they would each be "cruel and unusual punishment" for each other, though.

The inn located in France under the Eiffel Tower run by Conrad's family?????

Us regular folks would be in the slammer faster than the speed of light if we got caught driving on a suspended license ..... with or without a DUI.

Yeah, but in this case, Paris doesn't get to choose her prison. I think Martha did. The prison for Paris is in LA, not Malibu or Beverly Hills, and is rather ghetto.

                            Leona Helmsley seems appropriate.

Actually, the prison's in suburban Lynwood.

From what I hear the conditions aren't quite Alcatraz, but she will have her own TV (no cable) and her choice of 3 different colored jumpsuits.

Lynwood's next to Southgate and Compton, not the best places in the LA metro area. You will never find any celebrities there.
