  • Lakers and their shady front office

so on Tuesday, Kobe went on KCLA AM 570, exposing the shady practices, media spins and leaks, and other crap that the Buss family has been doing in the past few years. I knew something was up, and looks like a bunch of players and coaches in the organization and league knew what was going on. Listen to Kobe on this very emotional podcast.

Please Mike - please, do not tell me you actually believe Kobe Bryant? The biggest whiner of the NBA! He wants to be traded? - well, trade him! Hopefully, to somewhere like the Clippers <hehehehe>.

I just want him gone so I can be a Laker fan again!

AMEN to that!!! I was a Laker fan all my life, until they traded Shaq and kept Kobe. They sure got that deal bass ackwards. I've been against the Lakers and for the Miami Heat ever since.

Nice job by Buss with the DUI as well.

Hate the Lakers as much as I hate the Yankees.

Buss actually forced the trade, tho. Shaq even confirmed it yesterday, soon after Kobe went on air. Kobe had nothing to do with it. The Buss family is just glad to have the best scorer in the L, because it justifies them raising ticket prices every year.

Yeah, maybe he can share the cell with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. After all, Buss is over 70, and the girl with him during the DUI bust was... 23.

I couldn't figure out whether to laugh or applaud.

Well, that's the story now, anyway.
Doesn't matter to me. Whoever caused it, trading Shaq and keeping Kobe was a huge mistake.

Now why you gotta punish the Clippers like that?

Depends, was the Lakers playing against the Nuggets that weekend?

There was a rumor that Kobe might want to be traded to Chicago, whatever happens, keep him on the West Coast.

As the Lakers know, you live by Kobe, you die by Kobe.

                        It happened in the summer.

And Paxson has inquired about Kobe already.

Nope, but the Lakers stood by him through the sh#tstorm.

He could have kept his mouth shut and taken it up with the Buss' through closed channels.

Instead, he went on the radio and cried his little heart out.

                          What a donkey.

I can see where Bryant is coming from. He signed with the Lakers with hopes of winning champs, not carrying a crappy assed team that is rebuilding, or is it retooling, with young players. The allegations that he was told that the Lakers would try and win now, if true, are good reason for him to be cheesed off. But, he's handling it like a little child. Spouting off to anyone who will listen, pouting after his "talk" (more like lecture) by Jackson and Buss. Hard to really sympathize with any side in this Laker drama.

Can you spell "salary cap", boys and girls? If Kobe would take a cut in pay, then the Lakers would be allowed to hire better support players.
