Re: "Lost" - Season 4: News & Sightings

Near the Damien statue it looks like they are shooting a scene where someone is escorted to the previous mentioned scenario above... have a whole pile of extras lined up around police lines and cars.... little birdy tells me someone big is on trial. confused:

Plus a couple of fake rooms set up downstairs.
    I'm still here. Are you?

Re: "Lost" - Season 4: News & Sightings

Blogged today's big shoot here. It was for an Evangeline Lilly (Kate) scene. And this afternoon, I spotted Matthew Fox as well.

As the Advertiser story hinted, they were unusually aggressive in locking down the area. They chased KITV away, and that's ABC's local network affiliate! And a friend told me that even KGMB did a story on their 5 p.m. newscast, specifically mentioning how fans and they were rebuffed.

I'm a frequent enough lurker that I generally comply when told to piss off, just to stay on their good side. But there's usually a better balance, especially when you're dealing with something on a public street, or in a public building. Even though I stayed away, fortunately, I was able to get reports from others passing through.

Finally got a chance to look at this--thanks so much, Ryan, for making and posting it! Definitely a night to remember.

I love Giacchino's score (I'm convinced "LOST" wouldn't be a third as effective without the music), and it was good to hear it live, and to see Giacchino in person.
Lucky, lucky you!! The fates (and Christa) were smiling. Thanks for keeping us posted on this and all things "Lost." I agree with you about the music, particularly about that lilting melody that Giacchino uses both for tender and triumphant moments in different settings. There's enough uncertainty in that particular tune, though, that always makes me watch my back...for "the bagel" or some such.

Re: "Lost" - Season 4: News & Sightings

The Business section of today's paper had an article about Locke (Terry O'Quinn) selling his home on the north shore for $3 million. The article was from the Wall Street Journal, but it costs $ to get their online version so I Googled the story and found it at this link, for one, and the realtor's actual listing is at this link. Plenty of other stories about the home if you Google it.
(Funny thing is that the WSJ item was published today, but the link I gave above is from last May!)
Ryan, too bad you just bought that mini-van, or else you could've bought Locke's house!
And in other Lost news, Michelle Rodriguez has been sentenced to six months in jail, according to this link at CNN.com. And she was ordered to begin serving her term on Christmas Eve. She must've really pished off that judge!
          .
          .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I hope this doesnt mean Locke will be departing the show anytime soon?

Apparently not. The article in the Advertiser said he was going to rent a home here for the final two years of the show... unless they kill off his character.

'Lost' actor Daniel Dae Kim accused of DUI
Daniel Dae Kim, who stars as Jin-Soo Kwon on ABC's hit TV series "Lost," was arrested early this morning on suspicion of drunken driving. Details of his DUI arrest haven't been released yet, but police said he was arrested around 3 a.m. He was booked at the Honolulu Police station downtown, posted bail and was released at 5:05 a.m.

I really hope they don't kill him off. He and Sun's story is my favorite aspect of the show, partially due to the fact that they are Korean actors.

It is rare to see Koreans on American TV, and just as rare to see such great acting.

What I wonder is: Why don't these Lost actors just call a cab? I mean, I know I don't call cabs because I don't earn the income to do so. Stars from a hit ABC series, I imagine, are on a different tax bracket than a journalist with little to no renown. :P

I got to meet "Ben" and "Desmond" tonite - that was exciting! Michael Emerson is much nicer that I would have expected - in fact, he is very nice. and Ian Cusack looks exactly like his character. It was quite a nice experience.

A friend who was visiting Hawaii and was a guest on set last week has suggested that Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 will be the date of the "Sunset on the Beach" pre-premiere of Season 4 of "LOST."

Just the info I was hoping to see. I'll wait for a confirmed day before I get too excited though.
I'm disgusted and repulsed, and I can't look away.

Hi Anapuni. Emerson, and Cusick! What a lucky fan you are. Will you go to the pre-premiere on Feb. 2 too?
                            Take care,

Is this a sighting? I found him driving around the Bay Area last month.

                              I hope he drives automatic.
