  • My Hawaii trip

    Yahoo!

I had a great time on Oahu this month! I took over 900 digital shots and have included many on my postcards site at Hawaii-eCards.com.

I always make sure I get a window seat on the left side of the plane!

One of the awesomest things I saw on this trip were the Thunderbirds over Waikiki.

Princess of Maui was so gracious. She and her horse stood right in front of me to make sure I got plenty of shots! Thank you Princess of Maui!

I was impressed with Maryknoll High's float!

A trip of Koko Crater Botanical Gardens yielded many Plumie shots....one of my faves!

Thanks oggboy! I stayed with my parents in Pearl City....dad spoils me and always cooks me big breakfasts!

I went golfing with my uncles and cousins and had a blast. My auntie and her friends took me to a Bon dance at the Hawaii Okinawan Center in Waipio Gentry and I said I wouldn't dance but did indeed and had so much fun!

And it was wonderful meeting up with Ryan! We took photos of one another as well and talked about the LOST sets filming throughout Oahu.

            Ooooh... Dueling Photos!
Nice shots, both of you. And in the photo of Lovena (and what a sweet smile she has!), could that possibly be TutuSue in the background at the counter?
            .
            .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Indeed, that might be her. At least, looks like her hairdo.

What's funny is it looks like Ryan got a clearer shot of ECT using his iPhone than ECT got of Ryan using her dedicated Canon upper-end model (Rebel DSLR?) camera. lol

In the photo of Ryan, you can see in the window that they're at Nishi Mon Cho Ramen, which according to this page, used to be? located on East Manoa Road, although you said this was in downtown.

ECT, what was that vegetable, noodle, egg and dipping sauce plate you had called? I couldn't find that on the menu in that link. It doesn't look like Yakisoba. Looks more Vietnamese; like something from Bale Restaurant.

Anyone order the Ramen? How was it?

Mahalo for sharing all the nice photos and memories ECT!

I've never had a quiet, steady hand which is why I usually take several shots of my subject. Unfortunately, I only took two shots of Ryan and both were not my best!

It looks like the camera locked on to the sign in the background. Too bad, it was a good shot otherwise.

Thank you and glad you enjoy the site and photos! Bill Griffin, master Luthier, gave me a tour of the Kanile'a factory and then let me take some photogs. It was a quick tour and I also met the owner who had just come in. Place is small but I love the smell....especially of fresh cut wood!
