Chickpeas, peppers from the garden, and onions w/ tofu chicken, curried West Indian style (yay!)over brown rice. Mmmmmm!

Previously boiled and cooled potatoes, skinned and thickly sliced and fried in goosefat (sorry) with garlic and parsley. Thought about adding a fried egg, but decided it was too perfect like that.

Currently munching on a chicken cup of noddles, Baby Ruth candy bar and sipping on a bottle of Mountain Dew Code Red.

Two of my friends have recently returned to Paris after honeymooning on Oahu. They are now feeling the cold and neither of them are much good at cooking. Have the handouts ready Suzie. (ps. I think they stayed at the Marriott on Waikiki but it was all very hush hush.)

Tell them to come on down to the warmer southwest of the country...plenty of good food and goosefat, too.

I was brought up on Goosefat in Brest until the age of Ten. Stayed from Nice to Hyeres and eventually was stationed in Marseilles where I tried to teach Navy 'Brats.'
If you want to know anything about fish stew (which I'm sure you don't,) then give me a shout.
Les pieds noirs taught me lots which they had brought from Algerique.

So I'll let you know what she brought. Two orders (gigantic!) of refried beans, chips, salsa, chile verde, just awesomely crisp and moist pork carnitas and
two orders of cheese enchiladas. I had guacamole here. There was enough leftover for dinner last night!

                              And you didn't call me.

My lunch today was my favorite from Bob's Big Boy: burger with avocado, and an iced tea with lemon.
                              .
                              .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
