What's for Lunch - Chapter 12

Polish sausage, slice of pizza and a cup of Diet Coke from Sam's Club.

The same soup as last night's dinner. But with the additional side dish of toasted baguette and pork rillets.

Black bean chicken, noodles, and a cup of Mountain Dew from U Choice In.

Noodles, orange chicken and some sort of beef and veggies with a Diet Coke from Mia's Noodles or Mia's Kitchen from the Dole Canery Food Court.

Spicy chicken lemongrass sandwich and spring rolls from Saigon's on Waialae.

Polish sausage, chicken bake and a cup of Diet Coke from Costco.

Polish sausage, combo slice of pizza and a cup of water from Costco.

Subway Club sandwich with chips and a cup of Diet Coke.

Lentil soup.

I fried an onion and a clove of garlic with celery, green pepper, carrot, and a cut up potato. I added a pinch of thyme, a splash of Tabasco, and a speck of ground clove, then a can of lentils and sausage (I took the sausage out and only put it back in at the end, long enough to warm up), then lots of water and a big glop of ketchup. At the end, I threw in leftover rice.

We had whole grain bread and sweet butter, with milk to drink.

Baked in the microwave golden delicious apples with cream and cinnamon sugar for dessert. The kids went back to school and I had a cup of coffee and a bar of dark chocolate.

Pizza slices from Costco and a bottle of Mountain Dew from the vending machine.

Cream of pumpkin soup and crusty bread with Edam cheese. Cheap Christmas chocolates to finish with. I can't find where I put the coffee container, so I am having hot blackcurrant juice.

Leftover stuff from the party last night as a picnic lunch at a beach at Turtle Bay.

Lunch today was at the Christmas Party at Auntie Lynn's place. The food was DELICIOUS! Everything was homemade and included poi, rice, squid luau, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, kalua pig, poke, macaroni salad, laulau, custard pies from Lee's Bakery, etc., etc.. My own very small contribution was konbu maki.

Just as enjoyable as the food was meeting and socializing with Auntie Lynn's family. I had a great time talking to her sister, daughters Ligaya and Christy, Mama, PK and everyone else.
