Mel, impressive as always! I expected "Yellow Submarine" to be on your list. Alas, it made first place! Orinoco Flow by Enya is also a great tune.

"Orinoco Flow" is one of my favorite Enya songs of all time.

I forgot to include "Octopus's Garden" by The Beatles on my list. So here it is now.

We can step it up one more notch for individuals with "Ocean" in their name, and that would be Ocean Kaowili, a Honolulu fireman and very well-known local musician.
              .
              .

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Stretching it almost to the breaking point: electronica DJ Mocean Worker.

(For those who like their trivia, Mocean Worker is basically just Adam Dorn, whose father is a famous record producer - Joel Dorn, a/k/a "The Masked Announcer." Daddy Dorn produced a lot of major R'n'B & Jazz acts for Atlantic and other labels.)

This one might be a stretch: Remember (Walking in the Sand) - I prefer the version by Aerosmith

What's interesting is that the translation of "Alika" in this song is "Arctic", while in more common usage, it's for the name "Alexander" (Alex). No?

Japanese (Nihonjin) also pronounce the name "ERICA" as "ALIKA", as they can't pronounce a hard "R", turning it into "L", and the "E" becomes "A".
