I'd like to relive every second, just like I'd like to relive every second of every year, even the parts that sucked because the vast overall has been so cool. I'd just like to tweak the times I was an asshole to those who didn't deserve it.

I'm certain that would leave you with nothing to relive, Ron. It would be a whole 'nudder thang!
May I always be found beneath your contempt.

I can't imagine why anyone at all would care what Donald Trump thinks. His "15 minutes of fame" was over a long long time ago.

Thank you. I was just thinking "why isn't there a 'who gives a crap' option?"

McMitten would have done well for himself by telling Chump to stuff it, instead he wimped and dropped to his knees fearing the backlash Woodchuck Head would have fumed up. As long as these morons in the media give shitheads like Chump, Cain't, and the frantic Palin air space they'll be spewing as tho anyone cares.

                        * bump *
And this is a Star-Advertiser poll from today, not CNN, but.

Do you have a family member dealing with diabetes?

                        A. Yes (62%, 926 Votes)

                        B. No (38%, 571 Votes)

                        Total Voters: 1,497

I voted yes, and the family member is me. I actually spent a few days in the hospital last week. I'd gone in to see my doctor and my blood sugar (which is supposed to be 90 to 100) was clear up to... 688! Anything over 200 they consider to be critical.
My doctor sent me straight to the emergency room, where they gave me insulin and a saline IV. Within two hours it had dropped to 325. Better, but.
                        Permanently on insulin now.
                        .
                        .

Well, crap. I know we gave you a lot of grief over this issue about a year-and-a-half ago. Being on insulin will quickly become just a minor nuisance soon, when taken in perspective. But have you tried to quit smoking yet? It's tough, but it could make a huge difference in your quality of life, especially now.

                            Monuia, Liki.

Here is what comedian Jon Courtney says, "Laughter is the best medicine.........unless you are diabetic when I would recommend insulin!"

Liki, I am starting on Weight Watchers today, again. Join me in dropping a few pounds (well in my case a whole bunch) and I wager your blood sugar levels will drop dramatically.

Hard core reality and one I think I mentioned in the past. A good friend, a bass player oddly enough, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in his 30s and was put on insulin. It was a result of his lifestyle and weight. He decided taking insulin was enough; that was all the adapting he was going to do. He died at 38.
