    Re: And baby makes 20?

Looks like this jocular faux poster of the family will need to be updated.

Family skeleton jumps out of the closet

Let's jump this thread ahead a bit short of a decade for a timely update.

      http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-...n-2002-2015275
Referring to the father Jim Bob Duggar:
The Duggar family patriarch, 49, made the comments in the Q&A section of his campaign website during his unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate in Arkansas back in 2002. In the cached version first revealed by Gawker, Duggar was asked about his position on "abortion... specifically, where do you stand on rape, incest, and threat to the mother's health."
"If a woman is raped, the rapist should be executed instead of the innocent unborn baby," Jim Bob responded of his stance. "Rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes."

In 2002, Jim Bob Duggar argued that rape and incest merited the death penalty. But that same year, one of his own sons reportedly committed incest, and Duggar allegedly covered it up.

While running for U.S. Senate in Arkansas, the patriarch of the Duggar clan -- the family that is the central focus of the TLC reality TV show "19 Kids And Counting" -- said that rape and incest should be punishable by death. Yet during his run, he reportedly knew that one of his sons, Josh, had molested one of his daughters.
Perhaps the best summary of the situation comes from a tweet from Bette Midler:

      http://www.aol.com/article/2015/05/2...d%3D1651867370

Referring to the son Josh Duggar:
Josh Duggar resigned from an anti-gay "family" group due to molestation allegations. Kids, is there anything more delicious than irony?

So, I wonder if the Duggar family made enough money from its TV program to make it worth the very public exposure of their family's problems, including for the sister(s) that were victims of molestation by their brother now having it blasted worldwide?
Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble.

Even the "clean cut" ones are not immune.

So now the parents are blaming the media for making things so bad. Not their son who repeatedly molested numerous children, and not themselves for allowing him to remain in the household for a year while he kept the abuse ongoing of his young sisters. They are almost forcing the cancellation of their reality show ... and good riddance to that program!
