              I just saw Aunty Lynn on KGMB9 News at 5pm! They announced that she filed today, and showed video of her shaking hands with supporters. Whooohooo!!! What a great way to kick off the campaign.

                  The credit goes to my Webmaster and friend, zztype (Blaine).

                  My other Webmaster, PZ (Ryan) and my Campaign Manager, Matt Lum video taped me yesterday. PZ made the DVDs.

                  Today, at the Flicker Meet-up, I talked story to the man at my left like we were old friends. Anyways'...by the time I left, he gave me his card and told me "Lynn, call me. I volunteer my services to your campaign."

                  The man was Cory Lum.

                  So many friends and family are helping.

                  Grass roots is what it's all about.

                    If the Lord spoke to you, He makes the way, right Lynn? I predict a lotta "coincidence" goin' on!!

                          What an exciting morning I had!

                          I went to my first Political Fair for Candidates!

                          My table (corner) was next to Mayor Mufi.

                          Across from two Board of Education Candidates, Congressman Neil Abercrombie, and Representative Karl Rhoads.

                          I was late due to taking my daughter to the airport for Air National Guard. She comes first. I rushed to Lanikila and set-up quickly. I noticed some candidates didn't have anything on their tables.

                          I was prepared. Pretty pink table cloth and matching skirt. A display which I made last night, and my bumbucha sign. Plus, 800 Oat and Honey Snacks with labels of:
                          "Lynn Vasquez-Dela Cerna
                          A Vote for Lynn is a WIN!!!!"

                          Yep. As a first time candidate, I was on!!

                          I had Fun meeting and talking with our beautiful Seniors of Hawai'i. I was fortunate to know many of them because I was raised in Kalihi/Palama. The negativeness came from fellow candidates whom don't know me. When they asked who and where I was running...their eyes rolled. I just smiled.

                          Yes...I know who I'm running against.

                          Door to Door, Sign Waving, Writing on the Internet, etc. etc. is all good.

                          The most important ~ is to have you, the voters...get registered and VOTE!

                            i meant to mention that i've had a few opportunities to honk at auntie while she was campaigning on the king and liliha corner. i was glad to honk positively for once!
