If we're talking about tires, yes.

If we're talking about something else, isn't that why the Republican advocate abstinence? Unless we can temporarily have our tubes tied until we are ready to start a family.

          "Obama Practices Looking-Off-Into-Future Pose"

Doesn't matter who you wanna vote for, cuz this is just plain funny!

~ "The biggest obstacle Obama has had to overcome in recent weeks is his proclivity to squint while looking toward the future, which aides say alienates voters." ~

Well, Barack Obama is wrapping up a whirlwind tour through the Middle East and Europe. In the process, he attracted three U.S. network anchors to host their Evening News on location, and became the first ’08 presidential candidate to meet with the Palestinians. What was the highlight of the trip? For me, it was Obama’s speech at the Victory Column in Berlin, Germany. 200,000 people showed up to witness it! You can’t help but draw comparisons to John F. Kennedy’s now infamous “Ich Bin Ein Berliner” speech nearly a half century ago. It reminds us that Obama’s rhetorical skill and message of reconciliation represent what voters have placed a value on this Election season.

We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.

That they should vote what the Germans want? How about we vote what the Iranians want, eh?

Just remember a Republican President demanded a certain wall to be torn down, and eventually the Russian President complied, uniting two separate countries into one whole nation.

Walls can be figurative, as well as literal. A Republican president (Reagan) may have called on Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall. But another Republican president (Bush 43) has, by his own arrogance and cowboy mentality, built up symbolic walls between the US and our NATO partners.

If someone took the actual time to listen to what Obama said to the Germans (instead of posturing and taking pot-shots at the man), you will find that he was trying to generate support for our NATO allies (and yes, Germany is one of them) to join the US in a cooperative effort to combat terrorism in Afghanistan and not make the mistake as Bush did in making unilateral decisions as he did in Iraq.

Random, you completely missed the point. Like Frankie’s Market surmised, my point refers to the content of Obama’s speech. Your response indicates you didn’t watch it, and thus have no clue what I was talking about.

The Fed. Gvt. will be posting the hugest, most astronomical budget deficit in history, about $490 billion. And guess what............? Its all Clinton's fault! Don't waste time with their BS truly BS reasons, that is what the mouthpieces of Mr. Bush are saying. It had nothing to do with giving tax cuts to billionaires and starting a war for the fun of it, it was all President Clinton's fault--the guy who balanced the budget and ran surplusses.

A few years ago Air America ran an interview with Mr. Bush's college econ prof, Professor Tsurumi, its on the net if you want to google it. I recall the professor saying that as a student Bush would never study, never do any work and so he would fail, and that when he did, he would always blame others. Ogden Nash said it best, "The song of canaries never varies".

                      Incredible. Absolutely incredible.

Kalalau, you’ve been reminded repeatedly to stay on topic over the course of several threads. You could have easily posted your comment in The Iraq War or The Bush Watch, either of which would have been more relevant. Or, you could have started your own thread. In lieu of that, I am asking admin to place your post in an appropriate thread.

...don't be blaming it all on Bill Clinton, you know Jimmy Carter is partly the cause of all this as well!

And this Osama Barak-bin Bama guy is just going to have us all under the angry black man's Muslim thumb.

I don't like McCain. But he's better than John Kerry and Al Gore!

Man, I gotta get me another glass of Kool Aid...

That's pretty offensive even for you RW. Obama doesn't appear angry, he's only half black and he's not a Muslim. Oh sarcasm, duh.

Just a guess, but I think a "sarcastic rolling-eyes" smiley might have been an appropriate addition to Ron's post? If not - sorry for the interruption.
