I think that light is at the Hilton Hawaiian Village? Crossing fingers.

It's been quite some time since I been on that property in Kahala. So from the last time I was there, it was the Kahala Mandarin as I remembered it. Now that you have reminded and corrected me, yes, it is the Kahala Resort. I now vaguely recall reading about the sale of the hotel a few years back.

As for the photo I posted, yes, it is the light, but it is not in Waikiki. It's in Honolulu though!

Looks like you're at the blowhole (Halona Beach Cove), looking up toward Sandy Beach on O`ahu.

Yes Leo Lakio! I took this photo from Halona Point, which is across the little cove from the blowhole parking/viewing area. There is space for about three cars to park and a Japanese Jizo (Guardian of the sea shrine). Walk past the shrine as far out to the tip that you feel comfortable. It's a great spot to view the Halona Blowhole. Enjoy the serenity away from the crowds!

It is the actual last good time/memory I have with my now ex

We went for Thanksgiving dinner, I had a blast! She even had a good time. . .it wasn't until 3 months later it was made known to me I was an ass hole for not cooking dinner on T-day, lol.


Tutu, I hear ya 110% smokehouse. Though, they do some MEAN ribs, and a pretty damn good Burger on Monday nights!
