  • Ranking the "Summer of 2008" Movies

From best to worse ... beginning in May ... where does Dark Knight stand next to Iron Man, Hancock, Wall-E etc ... I'm sure this will change as there is still August left. I have not seen all of the summer movies so I'm really curious about the ones I didn't see. We'll also find out who the hard core movie watchers are. Here is my list so far:

    The Dark Knight
    Wall-E
    Iron Man
    The Incredible Hulk
Hell Boy 2: The Golden Army

This has to be the best summer for movies ever.

Been heading to the movie theater every weekend this summer (with the exception of one weekend) with Albert and that is a lot of movie going even by my standards.

As far ranking them, it's doesn't matter to me. I won't mind seeing Iron Man or Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull again, but I think Disaster Movie would probably summarize most of the movies being released in 2008.

seen most of the ones listed but none of them really impressed me except the movie Wanted. and i'd rank Iron Man #2; just my two cents.
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?

          The Dark Knight
          Iron Man
          Wall-E
          Kung Fu Panda
          Wanted

TDK was pretty much one of the best movies I've seen in the past few years.

Besides the ones you mentioned, I really enjoyed:

            Young at heart
            Sex and the City
            Tell No One

Kung Fu Panda was definitely my favorite.
