Well, there you are. You learn something new every day!

        Not $4995.
And your point is... ? Am I being called a cheapskate? Is there a minimum price point which one must attain in order to participate in this thread?
In any event, I've had custom bikes before. Made in the good ol' US of A, with a whole lot more cc's. At this point in my life, I'm enjoying a rather nice boat, so the bike is just a minor toy. Don't let it bother you.
(Sorry, but your reply to me just sounded... snippy.)

Sorry man! I didn't mean to offend you. Actually I think US need more small economical bikes and cars. Unfortunately it looks like we have opposite trend – bikes become bigger and heavier every year. I don’t understand it.

As usual, your sarcasm brings a smile to my face, Lika. Incidentally, like zff, I will soon go back to a two-wheeler due to rising gas prices. I’ll save on gas, insurance, parking, and the actual sticker price. Will need to buy more rain gear, though.

Nice bike, ML! What year is it?
I had a black Shadow Ace too, several years ago, but without the saddlebags or windscreen that you've got. Loved it, but eventually sold it when a guy offered me more than I'd paid for it brand new.
