Paul Newman has passed away at 83. The 10-time Academy Award nominee, star of such classics as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting, won the Oscar in 1987 for his role in The Color of Money. He also was the recipient of two honorary statues.

Big tears! I love Paul Newman. Not only for his movies, his beautiful marriage to Joanne Woodward for all these years and his commitment to causes with the proceeds of his Newman's Own to charity. There will never be another one like him. Condolences to the family and millions of fans.

I was happy to hear that he and Redford have been close buds to the end, and loved playing elaborate jokes on each other.

He and McQueen are probably haulin' ass on some big track in the sky.
