Hi All,

I thought there was a thread on auto transmissions earlier but I could not find it? Does anyone have recommendations on an auto transmission shop (Honda) around town that's honest and reasonably priced?

I have a better proposition for you- Call Mike who owns a business called the Hon Doc. He's a honda mechanic that works out of his home and does house visits with his van. He specializes in Hondas. He charges cheap for transmission work. Several years ago, he quoted me around $350 when everyone else was charging $700 to $1,100. And he can do it in like 3-4 hours. His number is #371-7020. Just tell em Bobby referred you. I don't get any commissions from this. He's a good friend. Honest fellow and real down to earth.
