Don't know the circumstances of her death, but there is word that she died last night. Talk about a powerful force in Hawaii's economic landscape. Woman Warrior extraordinaire. Don't see any coverage yet.

I hope she passed peacefully if she has passed away. She has accomplished so many things and fought fearlessly for so many people and especially to improve working conditions for people in Hawaii.

RIP. I was fortunate to hear her speak a few years ago at UH. Very moving speaker, whose life empowers a lot.
