I couldn't get Jam when I was there but a friend said 'they call it Jello.'

If you are in Britain and ask for jelly, you get jello.

Correction, I live in Britain and get Jelly in every store I ask for it. Jello is what they call jam in the US of A.

Nope. Jam is jam. Jello is jelly...like the red stuff that goes in a trifle.

(Jello is the brand name for this kind of gelatin) The Brits have delicious jelly...the Jello gelatin kind...it even comes in blackcurrant. The Poles have gooseberry and sour apple flavour.

Re: Looking for Local Jam Mixes

Jello gelatin is impossible to find in France. ANY flavoured jello stuff is impossible to find in France.

Spain has it...it comes in powdered form, like in the US..just add water.

The Polish stuff comes in powder, too.

Britain has these little cubey things of it...put it in a measure and add up to a pint of water and heat and stir til it dissolves...no granular bits. But no licking Jello powder off your fingers, either. But the British kids eat the concentrated cubes.

Perhaps this topic needs to move to the food section.
                  I'm still here. Are you?

This wasn't about food. You can fork those who derailed this thread.

All I was requesting is dance mix of local music only, the kind you hear a DJ do.
