Came across a trailer for a movie called 9 on the Apple's Movie Trailer site. It's an animated movie about doll sized something (can't tell if they are robots or organic lifeforms) that survive the destruction of human life on Earth.

Opens on September 9, 2009 (or 9/9/09).

Saw this movie at the Ward Theater this afternoon. Overall it is an average movie.

While watching it, I thought it was OK. But when describing it to another person, I realized that although the animation was good, the story line was pretty ... dumb. And the ending was plain 'ol goofy. Plus, I'd not recommend it for young kids, since they cannot differenciate between characters of fantasy and reality [in explanation, suffice to say that some of the sack-people (9's friends) are "sadly" killed].

I expected more. Save your $ for the video rental.
