...and Jake has also put the duet on his Japanese release, "Across the Universe."

Christmas '80 + this song = a yearlong journey helping the Salvation Army in my local community. The next summer I was offered a counselor's position at one of their summer camps; my parents would not allow it, and I regret not pressing the issue further. My life would have been so different; that summer was not good for me at home, but I did make the money at my summer job that allowed me to complete my college education.

John Lennon. It's impossible to say how much I admired him and loved him. And this track was right there with Imagine.

Yeah, it's the kind of song I'd like to dedicate it to Al Qaeda and Abu Sayeff, saying, "Dudes, give it up, the war is over and God is not on your side."

The REAL God wouldn't take sides anyway. Plus, you DO have a God, you just don't have knowledge of her... uh... or him... uh... or it, yet.

That's basically where I'm coming from.

Then my god is severely and dramatically flawed. But I'm good with that; it means I will always have goals for improvement, and should never stop trying.
