Two years ago, a man and a woman met by chance. ha ha ha
The woman looked into his beautiful brown eyes.

    Tonight's celebration begins in Chinatown.

P.K. and I will be there where it all began.

Re: Kung Hee Fat Choy 2009!

I hope you will have a great time We have paper dragons walking through China Town on the 26th Jan. Lots of noise and paper firecrackers being sounded off.
There is a tradition here. All debts must be paid on this day. So lots of little red envelopes are passed between the Chinese.
All the restaurants are closed of course but I have my Won Tun Noodle, Char Sui and Chinese leaves with Oyster sauce, ready at home.

              Everybody is invited.

Re: Kung Hee Fat Choy 2009!

We didn't go. My daughter, Christy went out w/ my odda daughter and her friends. She's leaving soon. I took care of my grandchildren. I just found out from MAMA dat they were celebrating at The Chinese Cultural Plaza last night! I tried calling 521-4934 but no one is answering. It's the Management Office for the CCP. Somebody shua made a half you know wat of a schedule!! I could have taken Antonio and Kiana to look at the festivities.

We also have paper dragons and lions dancing around fire crackers. Money is also put into red envelopes or just given into their mouths hoping for a better year and like me "bring me a good man!" heheheh And he came.

Yes...we have Chinese celebrations. We have Hawaiian, Potorican, Portugese, African, Japanese and Filipino kine too. We live Hawaii, the center of the Pacific. We are who we are...AMERICANS!

                Love and ALOHA,

P.K. and I took MAMA home after our farewell dinner for Christy tonight. She left for the airport right after. Anyways, you guess it. Cultural Plaza was packed with people! Too much confusion on the dates and time.

I'll try to get more information on the other dates.

No celebrations foa PK and I this year.

My migraines started to ack up last night.

Staying in bed and taking Predisone to stop the cycle.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Over here, they suggest that stopping the 3 C's really helps migraine sufferers:-

                          Coffee, Chocolate and Cheese

It is said that if you feel a migraine attack (I have never had one but know people have.) A dark room is the answer, Predisone and the above advice.

                          You have my sympathies.
