  • Neighborhood booms

Nearly every day, we hear big booms in the 'hood. It was, of course, bad on New Year's, but they're still going off. I've heard kids are filling balloons with propane and setting them off with firecrackers.

    Acetylene works even better.

    Carpet tubes make GREAT cannons!

    All 100% legal, too!

    (Except noise compklaints.)

After the storm of last week and the power outage, I expect a baby boom in about nine months....does that count as a boom?
