Performing Arts, as in strictly referring to stage plays and the like, or does this board also allow for info per musical groups as well?

      RW, the link shows:
"Notices can be from individual artists and technicians, schools, church choirs, music and dance ensembles, bands, community theatre, professional theatre, broadcast radio and TV, film – whatever."

I don't see where you found that, TS, but mahalo!
This may prove to be of great benefit to many struggling artists.

I hope so. It's been tried for actors in Hawaii in the past and one entrepreneur spent quite a bit on money on web site development and getting the word out. He went belly up. For the majority of film and commercial auditions we don't have open calls and don't want the audition info disseminated to the masses. That's why you won't see these types of auditions listed in the Advertiser's 'Try-out' section except on rare occasion. That said, my company takes photo submissions, via my web site, to keep on file for future jobs. Maybe I'll post this info on Callboard Hawai`i and see what happens. Usually there needs to be a large web site following to generate even a little response. And, sometimes that response can be less than desirable. As an experiment I tried Craigslist...once!!! Ai yi yi yi yi!
