Seems some smartie got inventive and mixed culinary cultures and have struck cooking gold on the mean streets of Los Angeles, and it's made it's twitter way to New York too.
How long before we have a Honolulu version?

That Kogi taco truck has been the biggest rage to hit L.A. in the last few months. A wait in line can be up to 2 hours and people are lined up way ahead of time before the truck hits a scheduled stop. Hope for him it lasts.

No. I heard it on Twitter first. A friend of mine (and of a few other people on HT) reports that it wasn't that good, more hype than quality.

3) Kalbi Taco sounds good, but only if the topping is Kim Chee.

1) Yes, but I forget who sells them. Made them at home, mixed with potato, and they are good!
2) Now yer talkin' serious grinz, but what a mess!
3) Check the pix, got the chee, but it's the cucumber style this time.

Nah. Just cook the laulau beforehand then add into the taco shell or wrap in burrito.

Since Phoenix copies nearly everything from LA...should be on the lookout for the concoction next time I "go off the mountain"

Then again, a couple of the local taquerias are doing Thai inspried Tacos.

BTW....wasn't it Lucy's in Kailua that did the Kalua Pig Tacos?
