Fabulous photos folks ~ They don't look a bit like Liverpool (Which as you know is a small, quaint fishing village in England ,,,, ???)

Wow! Very good pics in this thread!! Here is my first picture that I've ever posted and it's just taken with my iphone held up to the eyepiece of my telescope. The quality is complete garbage and the only reason why I think it's cool at all is that what I'm photographing is 16 miles away and usually at this distance the air turbulence and temperature differences make these images much more blurry. This is the FAA station on Mt. Ka'ala -

Awesome shots all! Dig those crazy side-burns on the Menehune Man. And Stinky the Grump, or everybody, don't hesitate to post. Post away.

Hey Likanui! A morning on this lanai with a cup of coffee would be a most fitting prize... can?

I'm seriously amazed by some of the shots in this thread! I *really* like the closeup one of the Thunderbirds jet and that sunrise is probably the nicest sunrise pic I have ever seen! I tried to get a picture of the moon on saturday in the daytime but my iphone did not want to cooperate Hopefully I can get a decent camera sometime soon...Here's a recent picture of some neat roots on the Aiea Loop trail.

Went to Lost Wages for a conference last week. Left here a couple days prior and made the trip to the Grand Canyon. If you haven't been there, you really should check it out. It's . . . well . . . Grand! Here's a few of those shots.

It's about 5 hours, give or take, from Las Vegas, depending on how heavy your foot is. Drop the top and let it roll.

There was a lot of haze in the air. I don't know if it was from fire or UV haze, but it made the sunset colors pop on the rock.

In the evenings in Vegas, did a little strolling around with a couple of the gals I work with. Watched the Treasure Island show, Bellagio Fountain show, in and out of casinos.

We went to see the Cirque du Soleil performance "O" at the Bellagio one night. It was mind-blowing. If there's on thing you should do in Vegas, this is it. Sorry, no cameras were allowed inside. We also did dinner at the Tao Asian Bistro in the Venetian. The big banner on the strip advertised "Spiritual Dining. Religious Nightlife." Food was great. Atmosphere was better. I really liked this place so I'm going to post a couple of pics.

One night, I went up to old Vegas and took in the Fremont Street Experience. Have you ever been experienced? Well, I have. Here's an older neon I happened to like.
