One of the more laughable aspects of his scam was the fake NFL card depicting Rewald as a running back for the Kansas City Chiefs. Team officials had no record of RR even being in training camp and there were no records of him even playing college football.

The lengths he went through to produce the card indicated that even he "believed" in his own fantasies.
