  • Prawn Crackers

It's only recently that we have got Prawn Crackers ,,,, the dried Chinese types.

Since I quit smoking, I must admit that I snack ! (Fat Feller.)

A handfull of the Prawn crackers are done in the deep fat frier in minutes.

      Just a snack:-

Boil some thick 'n thin noodles with chick peas. Drain and then put them into the deep fat frier. After a few mins ,,,,, remove and add some salt. Pepper and curry powder. A bit of candie peel. Plus a few peanuts and raisins.
Leave to cool and then snack out when something boring is on TV

HA! Ditto! Fat chick.... and that looks to be a dandy recipe, which I shall attempt as soon as I clean up the fry daddy machine. I love Indian snacks, especially if I can control the "heat".... great for watching Bollywood, as well. A fat chick recommend!

But really, Barry, beware the MSG in those crackers, as it contributes to Alzheimer's, as mum could tell you, if she could remember. She used to dope all our food with it. But your crunchy recipe sounds delish! Thanks!
