Now if they could only take over cable television...
Beijing 8-08-08 to 8-24-08
Tiananmen Square 4-15-89 to 6-04-89
The only truly effective strategy if the Socialist-Democrats take control:
Take a seated position;
Bend down until your head is between your legs;
Kiss your ass goodbye.
(Hmmm. Not sure if this isn't a Universal strategy for the tentees... (2010-2019)....
All together now......
K K K = Kiss Kiss Kiss

Hey, what's wrong with elephant piss?
Leo, if you understand the Health Care Bill, it's total government takeover. I don't know any Senator who has read the entire 2,000 page bill. Do you? I've heard from reliable sources that in the bill are provisions for gun control, required implantation of computer chips, control over where your kids can attend school, etc. I'd also imagine they can control where you work, since employers can be restricted as to who and how many people they can employ as a result of health care policies the government will issue. This is Communist China crap!
This is what princess Pelosi has to say about the Bill. How stupid is this? Tell me she's not a socialist dictator speaker who doesn't want to shove it down our throats. Don't give up your liberties, people!!!

Have you read the entire 2000 pages...since you are setting yourself up as the expert on interpreting the provisions of the bill.

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a socialist.
I just always think of my friends in Canada, how health care there is just not a worry. A friend who lived in England for over 20 years says its the same way there. Whats "socialism"? Just a word for public ownership. Big deal. Parks are socialist. Beaches are socialist. The municipal golf course is socialist. That does not mean secret police and prison camps. Highways are socialist. The ocean is socialist. Would you really want a privatized ocean? How about the air? Whats so scarry about public ownership? Did you get educated in a publicly owned school? By publicly paid teachers? Did anything about that experience sound like death panels and implanted chips and forced abortions? It doesn't in Canada, England, Denmark, Germany, France, etc, either. At least in other countries you get health care for your taxes, here you get luxury wars started to enrich oil company campaign contributors.
Maybe it would be better if the medical system here did collapse. Then it could be rebuilt rationally with no private insurance companies at all, they are irrelevant in providing health care. That is done by doctors, nurses, technicians, not pencil pushing bean counting privatized bureaucrats.
Matapule,
Anyone who allows any political party to pass something that will profoundly change our American way of life and the Constitution without knowing what's in the Bill has got to be the biggest fool. The Dems drafted this Bill in secrecy, and they don't wanna tell us what's in it until after it's passed into law. If you can't see dictatorship written all over their attempts to ram it down our throats, then you're the one getting high on bat piss.
The reason Obama and his thugs are trying to rush this things is because the longer we have time to study it, the more we find out how our civil liberties are being eroded. Whatever happened to Obama's promise of transparency?
Now, we're finding out all kinds of schemes to charge new taxes.

Oh, and here's another one of Marxist Obama's move towards Socialism- The National I.D. card. It's all about government control, folks! Here, Congressman Ron Paul explains- http://video.foxnews.com/v/4098013/r...ylist_id=87249
Meh, Bobi. This pretty much sums up humanity: either you oppress or be oppressed.
Beijing 8-08-08 to 8-24-08
Tiananmen Square 4-15-89 to 6-04-89
I'm willing to take what many call the most liberal congressman on the hill, U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, as gospel. Listen to why Kucinich says he does NOT support the bill. Bob apparently has good company among the most liberal dem.Incidentally, I think Kucinich is one of the scant few politicians in Washington, D.C. who understands health care issues. Clearly, more than Bob.

Rest easy. There will be no national health care like they suffer with in Canada or Germany or England or France. Yahoo news reports the votes aren't there to pass it. America can never deal with problems before they develop. Its our national passion to let things fester into horrendous disasters and only then to deal with them. So we will of course eventually have national health care, only after...how many deaths? @45,000 a year..sorry, the math is too grim. Our own people do a better job against us than Al Qaeda ever could! And the money that could have been saved but instead will be siphoned off into already obscenely wealthy peoples' accounts. I can't really blame the Republicans for this, the Democrats had the votes, they just didn't have the stones. And who needs a second Republican Party? The real Republicans are much better Republicans than our elected "Democrats" ever could be. And so goes the 2010 election. Oh well. There's always 2050. (I will be 103 then.)
It seems to me that many people who publicly say they are against "socialist" policies and that it will lead to the destruction of the US are actually happy to benefit from those socialist policies but don't want others to do so. Those people are happy to try to hide their parents' or grandparents' assets to try to qualify them for Medicaid. or like Palin "who has gone to great lengths to hype the supposed dangers of a big government takeover of American health care -- admitted over the weekend that she used to get her treatment in Canada's single-payer system."

Palin said "and I think now, isn't that ironic?" Ironic is not the word I would use.
Here's a few eye-opening news articles to chew on.
I'm suprised this first one was broadcast on CNN.

So...whaddya say, now that he has changed his mind?
When I realized the full scale of madness, I became a Constitutionalist, leaning heavily towards the Libertarian Party. But how much longer does Ron Paul have? He's gettin pretty old for politics. Maybe he needs to start smokin dem cigars, like Winston Churchhill. That old geezer lived until 94, and was still serving in the House of Lords when he was 92.
That's the holy grail- cigars and scotch![]()
Frankly, Leo, I couldn’t have said it any better than Tom Hagan of Charlestown, Boston, MA.
