  • "Glee" on FOX

Fox's new musical comedy 'glee' debuted last month but the season doesn't actually run until fall. I am 'obsessed' with musicals so of course, i LOVED the pilot. If you missed the pilot when it aired on TV - you can watch it for free on hulu. Don't let the fact that it's a musical set in a high school stop you from watching it... it's not High School Musical.

I can't wait until Fall! I'm REALLY looking forward to Kristin Chenoweth appearing in a future episode.

    Re: glee

yeah, i caught the premiere episode and liked it, too; very funny; my only slight complaint is that the football guy doesn't really have an impressive voice....
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?

      GLEE!

Are there any other "Gleeks" out there?

I have been hooked on this show from the pilot. I love the music and I love the humor!

My fave song from last night's episode...

        Re: GLEE!

        ^^^ So THAT's what we're called! *grins*

Yeah, I gotta admit that I've become a "Gleek" too!
I had a chance to catch the pilot (after hearing some of the buzz)... and got hooked on it myself.

Music's been great and the variety impressive, both as background and in the production numbers!

Had to record last night's ep, so I'll have to wait till I can watch it (hopefully tonight) before comparing notes w/ you.

And having said that, in the spirit of last week's ep... "Gleek Out!"
To be, or musubi... What was da question?

          Re: GLEE!

No need to record when you have Hulu.com (in addition to Fox.com).

As for the previous episode titled, "Acafellas..."
Glee club director Wil's story seems a little off-putting. After all the effort he put to get to run the high school's glee club in past episodes, he started to "moonlight" as part of the five-men singing group, Acafellas. That leaves the glee club to look elsewhere for a new choreographer (and one butt-ugly one at that).

Mercedes Jones got the spotlight in this episode however, as someone trying to find love but in the wrong person. Love her rendition of "Bust Your Window."

What's surprising is Puck, Finn's football teammate and self-proclaimed "anti-gleek," wants to join the Acafellas (on the verge of falling apart) but for selfish reason. Why go for the kitties when you have cougars hungry for your meat, eh? Hopefully, we'll see more of his singing performance in future episodes.

But of course, the only reason I watch is the cheerleaders, with their skirts and bikini tops and high-heeled sneakers.

So, did anyone get Volume 1 of Glee: The Music Soundtrack?

                How is it?

                  ^ ^ ^

I have both "Glee" soundtracks (Vol. I & Vol. II), love both albums. Fun stuff!

Glee did pretty well in its first season... 4 Golden Globe nominations!
                  • Best TV Series - Comedy/Musical
                  • Matthew Morrison ("Wil Schuster"): Best Actor - TV Comedy/Musical
                  • Lea Michele ("Rachel"): Best Actress - TV Comedy/Musical
                  • Jane Lynch ("Sue Sylvester"): Best Supporting Actress - TV Comedy/Musical

The show seems to be attracting an international audience as well.
Check out this video of a "Glee" Holiday Flash Mob in Italy:

Yeah, I'm a "Gleek" and I admit it.

Although I haven't been around much lately...
Just want to wish a "Merry Christmas" to all on HT!

I hear they didn't add the few mash-up music.
