Re: One more concert
Lennon without the Beatles would be a waste of a fantasy concert. I'm with Mel--I want the Beatles so I vote OTHER. Similarly, Mercury without Queen? What would be the point? It'd be like those Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (another sham) inductions where only one guy in the band shows up.
Second choice: Jimi Hendrix. Third: Sex Pistols. But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I GOT IT ALL! (George Costanza)

I voted "other". I had tickets for Buddy Holly, Richie Valens & The Big Bopper concert that should have happened the night after the plane crash. That's the concert I wish could happen."Democracy is the only system that persists in asking the powers that be whether they are the powers that ought to be."

Or that you sold them for a reasonable memento.
Can't touch them today.
Maybe better if you still have them!
We lost so much that night. More than we lost this June! Yet because of those men, we gained a generation different from any other.
Sometimes a cause need martyrs. I hate to think of them that way, and I'm sure Rock would Be if they had lived, but I know that their deaths inspired a generation of rockers, and a generation beyond that, and that, and that.
Rock on.
Buddy Holley should be enshrined along with Nickolai Copernicus, Lewis & Clarke, Thom Edison, the Wright Brothers, and so many others who forged a brave path where others were afraid to step.
Oh my, he is. Forever.

Re: One more concert
I saw Iz so many many many times just magic, I loved his banter to the audience and humor. He was great fun to talk with and joke after the shows.
I would like to see Jerry Garcia again. What an amazing show he put on at the Shell in I think 1992 I'll have to dig in my memory bank. It's a little fuzzy about that night!
I loved seeing Johnny Cash as well. Saw him solo and with the Highwaymen.
Great shows!
