OMG, WB! I'm trying so, so hard to stifle an inappropriate guffaw!
I wonder how the death of a celebrity dog factors in to the "3" thingie.
    RIP, Gidget.

yo quiero de perro taco bell.

the only spanish i ever learned was from sesame street, so regrets if that's not grammatically correct.

I loved those commercials and was totally shocked to find out the dog was a girl. She had a good life though- lived to the ripe old age of 15. Hope she was spoiled rotten after she retired.

Can't think of anything creative this time

Actually Lassie was played by male dogs.

Let's see, how to put this delicately...
Girl dogs are more, ummm, camera friendly from all angles! Dogs with lengthy coats, such as collies, are less of a problem on camera, regardless of the gender!

I'll never forget the wonderful male bassett we found for a local commercial many years ago. Those eyes...such a perfect expression. Then the camera was placed at ground level for a close-up of the dog running thru frame and...OOPS...scratch that shot!

I may have jumped the gun but recall the topic mentioned in the now defunct comic strip Bloom County.

David Letterman just made a joke about Michael Vick making an apology for Gidget's death.

I had read something long ago about why Lassie was always played by a male collie. Seems like the female collie doesn't get that really full neck ruff like the males do, so males were just prettier in the breed.
