For the Obama group, it was dinner at Alan Wong's.
I was sitting on my lanai around 7:15 tonight and saw the motorcade get onto the Kaneohe end of H-3 and head off toward town, so now I know where they were headed.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

The AFK made a lovely pork tenderloin that had been marinating in honey, lime juice, lime zest, chili paste and garlic salt; accompanied by au gratin potatoes.

Tonight at midnight, we sip carbonated nigori (unfiltered) sake.

last nite was some chicken thighs, browned and then covered with 1)layer of onion rings, 2) layer of green bell pepper rings and then 3) can of tomato sauce. Cooked for about 45 minutes @ 350 degrees (or until done). Served with garlic mash potatoes and some sauvignon blanc. Haven't made this for many years but wanted try out my new electric skillet. The temp mentioned above is for a regular oven - in an electric skillet, I used about 250 degrees for same amount of time. and it was all yum!
