Wow, I can't believe it's already been a year since the news broke of a "sequel" of sorts to Hawaii Five-O. Well, that idea seems to have died a quiet death.
Until news comes today of yet another attempt to revive the show. (It's true - there are absolutely no new ideas left in Hollywood, so they have to keep going back for remakes...)
This time, apparently CBS has ordered a pilot shot, which seems to be more of a commitment than they gave the last go-round. This version will be produced by the co-creators of "Fringe", who also wrote this year's Star Trek movie as well as both Transformers movies. It'll also be co-written by the producer of "CSI: NY".
