VDSL2 provides 50Mbps at 3300ft and 24Mbps at 5200ft
also both VDSL2 and ADSL2+ can be bonded, so basically combining 2pairs to double the bandwidth.
So it's acheivable to get 20-30Mbps even at 10,000ft from CO/RT on copper.
There is lots of fiber out there to RT's already which makes it one step closer to FTTP
Of course FTTP is the ultimate answer
