So much for any value that John Edwards' "confident assertions" have.
Well, it appears that John Edwards is now “asserting,” that he is in fact the father of Rielle Hunter’s child, after DNA tests confirmed it. Better late then never?

    John Edwards’ Paternity Fallout

(CBS) Former senator John Edwards could face federal charges that he used campaign money to pay for a hush fund over the love child he now admits to fathering.

I like how he had someone else give the speech while he was away in
Haiti (I think that's where). He hopes that some year his daughter will
be able to forgive and understand what he did when she is able to
know what he did/said. Yep, no doubt............

Politicians make me sick. The ease of which they can lie is remarkable.

At this point, who really cares? One illegitimate child or five, John Edwards has become politically irrelevant and that's left is fodder for the tabloids.

We should put John Edwards together with Mark Mcquire and start throwing raw green tomatoes.

Apparently, Time® magazine (citing PR gurus) disagrees with you. And as much as timkona has been a cheerleader for Edwards over the years, I wouldn’t be surprised if he would also challenge your assertion. I, on the other hand, think Time and Tim need to shake off their “philandering white male” obsession.

I agree why is this still a non-issue being talked about now?

But...WAIT...rumors are building about Brad and Angelina. Stay tuned! Only then can we leave John alone.

I was once a supporter of Edwards. I would have voted for him for pres. He, like many other politicians. has disappointed. but i still have a belief in the process - how can we do anything else?

Today's news reports are that the Edwardses are separating.

                              (Yeah, I know that's a gramatically-clunky sentence, but I'm short on time.)
