Former KGMB TV and radio station owner Cec Heftel died this week. He was a longtime broadcast property owner having successfully run KGMB TV and radio during most of their glory days in the 1960s and 70s. Of course he was also a politician and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1970s at which time he sold KGMB TV and radio.
