  • Something Unknown is Doing We Don't Know What

Unfortunately, by the time I got and read the email this film had already started playing at Spaulding Theatre at UH - Sunday, March 7 at 5 PM

Thanks to the moderator for deleting my 'oops!' I started to enter an announcement, then realized it was too late!

The film is about PSI Phenomenon:
    Clairvoyance...Psychic self-healing...Precognition...Telepathy...Psychokinesis .
All phenomenon people often experience that we don't presently understand.

You can check out a preview at:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II1KuLvYAjY
It's an Independent film,Directed by: Renee Scheltema. Netherlands 2008 104 min.
It may be available at some DVD rental places, and can be purchased online as well. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in PSI.

Helen mentioned that it was not clear that the title of the film was the same as the title of the thread. I couldn't get back in and edit it, hence this follow-up.

Yes, the name of the film is:
Something Unknown is Doing We Don't Know What

    It is hailed as:
"A Fascinating Spiritual Journey Into the Science Behind Psychic Experiences."

Helen also mentioned the YouTube demo was pulled, so for the film's official website go to:
    http://www.somethingunknown.com/synopsis.php
    That is still there.

I bought the disk online for $25 - about the cost of a movie date for two. If you have an interest in the paranormal - the REAL stuff - it's well worth it.

It would be a bonus if Jennifer Love Hewitts is in the movie. I think those are real.

Well, the synopsis doesn't sound like "a spiritual journey". It sounds like a physical journey, with visits to various individuals professing some sort of understanding of 'Psi' phenomena. If the questions mentioned at the website were REALLY answered in the film, it may be worth a viewing - are they?
May I always be found beneath your contempt.

Mostly they are addressed in research fashion:
          1. This is what we observed,
          2. These are possible explanations, most which don't fit,
          3. These are probabilities which might help to explain things.

No, it doesn't go beyond the promises of the title. What is helpful is that it reveals the research into the paranormal that has been done and the results thereof. Mostly, where do we get reliable results and what are the attempted explanations.

          It's worth a view.

Maybe I should have a viewing party at my place?
