    I figured that's what you meant. I was just trying to convey to TATT that our earthquakes aren't DIRECTLY affected by Plate Tectonics. As an end result, as you explained, yes. Directly and immediately, no. It's strictly volcanic. That is all.

    San Andreas aside, the real fault seismologists are concerned about that they discovered is actually off the coast of Washington, and predicted to take out Vancouver, Washington State and Northern Oregon, leaving California intact. Nice try.

    Let the truth be known, the earthquake was my fault. I simply fell out of bed and hit the floor.

    hi,my apologies for posting it here only did everyone feel at the time of 3:38 pm a 3.5 earthquake here and we felt it sitting here and my mom felt it sitting on her chair and it passed quickly,hope everything's ok where everyone's living here in hawaii?

    I felt it over here in Kaneohe. One sharp jolt, followed right away by two or three little shakes. Pau. No harm, no foul.
