What channel was this game on? I seemed to have missed it!

I have yet to see a full game on ESPN which I think is doing a totally lousy job of covering the Cup. I hope that changes with tomorrow's USA vs Slovenia match.

yes, in the game I noted, each player had two kazoos.

The sound of the vuvuzelas must have disoriented the referee at the US match that he took away the winning goal.

                Re: Vuvuzela at World Cup

I don't NEED a Vuvuzela! When the New Zealand All Whites drew with current World Champs Italy early Sunday morning, my whole neighborhood must have heard me screaming! We are ranked 78th and have been written off by everybody but we are currently UNDEFEATED at this World Cup! Not bad for a country that only has 25 professional soccer players! What an upset... GO ALL WHITES!

The Captain of the All Whites, Ryan Nelsen, has US connections. He played for Greensboro College in North Carolina and Stanford University before being drafted 4th overall in the 2001 Major League Soccer SuperDraft by D.C. United. He was just named WORLD PLAYER OF THE WEEK by goal.com for inspiring his side to two draws and giving the All Whites a shot at last 16 qualification.

Portugal defeated North Korea by the score of 7 to zero in soccer. Would this game be different if Kim Jong Il played?

Congratz to Team USA on their victory and progression to the next round of the Soccer World Cup!

It would have been sweeter if Brian Ching was on the team.

Did the United States soccer team improved four years later?
