This is why I shop KTA more often than Safeway. KTA will buy more of their produce locally. When it comes to cereals, canned goods and other non-perishables, I'll buy mainland and from other stores such as Safeway or Walmart.
But for eggs, milk, juice, produce I typically shop at KTA or the neighborhood farmer's markets.
