I saw this on Facebook and posted the following:

"I never met Ms. Russell but knew her friend, Connie Haines, for many years and heard some wonderful stories. A piece of trivia...Connie died a couple of years ago at age 87 and predeceased her mother who is still alive."

Turns out Connie's mother died a year ago just short of her 111th birthday.

RIP, Ms. Russell and say hi to Connie for me.

I see her niece on a regular basis, as she is dating the guy who lives below us (they are both actors, too); she was just here for an Oscars party last night, in fact.
