Hari and Bruce Carter. A nice way to end a Sunday afternoon. That program always brought smiles to those who watched.
Now run along and play, but donít get into trouble.

    Hinode rice? Not Hari.

He was a Diamond G man, all the way.

Was a commercial spokesperson for them and Kikkoman Shoyu during his heyday.

I found out Hari was very ill a few weeks ago from Stan Wright.

Hari and I had talked about doing a Lets Go Fishing retrospective for quite sometime. We were going to do it in 2007, then 2008, then 2009. We talked and talked about it, he came over to the house a few times and we looked over the old shows I have from the Bruce Carter days. Some of the footage was shown on KHON tonight and I gave Hari a copy or two awhile back as I understand they show footage at the "Uncle's Fish Market". It was great to hear stories from Hari about the old days of the show with Bruce Carter (who sadly to my knowledge never had one mention of an obit in the local papers when he died). I had talked to Titus Chan about doing a cooking show with Hari and I think it would have been fun. I think people would have liked it.
    RIP Hari!!

I get confused with Hinode rice and Diamond G rice because both are in yellow bags.

Yeah, before football took over Sundays that was a must-see.
