  • Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I'll just say that although I enjoyed it and wasn't really disappointed...
The movie was shorter than it should have been. More story and interaction between all species was needed in my thinking. Maybe a director's cut?

It was an easy way to pass the time. I thought that about 1/4 way through, the story got a bit draggy, but then by about 1/2 way through things livened up. (And, it helps if you go into the moving knowing that it is a prequel, which I didn't.) Duh me.
Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble.

I liked the movie so much (save for the silly fighting between the Apes and the SF police) that I went and bought the boxset of all the past movies I haven't seen in years.

Was Chuck Heston in everyone of those movies?

I think he was in the first two and the last one with Mark Wahlberg.

Might this be a real life event that begins The Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
