People Who Say They're Moving To Canada Because Of ObamaCare

I'm sure they'll like the healthcare just fine there.
CNN, Fox News Get SCOTUS Ruling Wrong
    http://www.tvnewscheck.com/article/6...s-ruling-wrong
Both CNN and Fox News Channel incorrectly reported Thursday that the law's central provision, requiring virtually all Americans to have health insurance, had been struck down. Both networks backtracked when it became clear that the court upheld the provision.

The truth is, Americans love Obamacare
      http://www.latimes.com/business/hilt...,4909537.story
"How can that be, when polls regularly show a plurality of respondents with an 'unfavorable' view of Obamacare? The answer, of course, is that most Americans have no idea what's in the law. When they're asked how they feel about specific provisions, however, they're almost always thunderously in favor."

Answer: The people who are opposed to "Obamacare" are in favor of the Affordable Care Act.......which are one and the same thing! It certainly looks like something more insidious is involved here.

The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land. A minority of Congressmen representing a minority of citizens should not be allowed to nullify the law of the land. They are traitors.

We need a creative legislative solution. How can we repeal Obamacare, which many hate, while leaving in place the Affordable Care Act, which many love? There must be a way.

THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME THING! Just stop calling it "Obamacare" like the OP did and start calling it by its official name - the Affordable Care Act. Faux Gnus insists on ginning up the rhetoric by calling it Obamacare. Call it by what it really is and problem is solved..........which is exactly what the Teathuglicans DON'T want to happen.

              Re: The Threat of "Obamacare"

UNITED STATES (The Borowitz Report)—Millions of Tea Party loyalists fled the United States in the early morning hours today, seeking what one of them called “the American dream of liberty from health care.”

Harland Dorrinson, 47, a tire salesman from Lexington, Kentucky, packed up his family and whatever belongings he could fit into his Chevy Suburban just hours before the health-insurance exchanges opened, joining the Tea Party’s Freedom Caravan with one goal in mind: escape from Obamacare.

“My father didn’t have health care and neither did my father’s father before him,” he said. “I’ll be damned if I’m going to let my children have it.”

But after driving over ten hours to the Canadian border, Mr. Dorrinson was dismayed to learn that America’s northern neighbor had been in the iron grip of health care for decades.

“The border guard was so calm when he told me, as if it was the most normal thing in the world,” he said. “It’s like he was brainwashed by health care.”

Turning away from Canada, Mr. Dorrinson joined a procession of Tea Party cars heading south to Mexico, noting, “They may have drug cartels and narcoterrorism down there, but at least they’ve kept health care out.”

Mr. Dorrinson was halfway to the southern border before he heard through the Tea Party grapevine that Mexico, too, has public health care, as do Great Britain, Japan, Turkey, Spain, Belgium, New Zealand, Slovenia, and dozens of other countries to which he had considered fleeing.

Undaunted, Mr. Dorrinson said he had begun looking into additional countries, like Chad and North Korea, but he expressed astonishment at a world seemingly overrun by health care.

“It turns out that the United States is one of the last countries on earth to get it,” he said. “It makes me proud to be an American.”

I wouldn't know what a porn web site looks like. Is it something different than the Anatomy class I took at the university?

The deal with the ACA website is that it is a public relations disaster. The results are unacceptable. I am sure the President is very angry with his staff, as am I. They'll get it right eventually.

I was talking with my part time Mexico neighbors last week about their Canadian healthcare system. She is a retired Canadian hospital administrator and he is a Canadian business owner with several hundred employees. They love, love, love their healthcare system! She told me she had cataract surgery last month on both eyes and it was quick, essentially no "out of pocket", and efficient. They think Americans are pretty backwards since we don't have single payer universal healthcare. They are perfectly happy being "socialist" Canadian citizens, thank you. They have never considered becoming US citizens, "the people in general are too backward, too violent, too arrogant, and too self absorbed."

John Mcafee (yes, that Mcafee) says the whole thing needs to be scrapped and redone completely/correctly, as the one up now will never work properly and it's a duck walk goldmine for hackers, thieves, and a Nat. security risk disaster far beyond PR or political proportions, maybe the stupidest thing this admin has done yet, and that's saying a lot.

Hell, if we didn't have our backward, too violent, too arrogant, and too self absorbed ways, what would we have these days to call ourselves great?
